These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of car rental services provided by Ethics Car Rentals Pvt Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us"). By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Ethics Car Rentals Pvt Ltd. display this website for your use, subject to these Terms and conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. By accessing and using this website, you are deemed to have fully and unconditionally accepted these Terms and conditions. If you do not accept or agree with these Terms and conditions, please do not continue using this website.

1. Eligibility and Requirements

Must provide a valid credit/debit card or make advance payment as required
Must meet any additional requirements specified for specific vehicle categories

2. Booking and Reservations

All bookings are subject to vehicle availability
Advance booking confirmation does not guarantee a specific vehicle model, only a vehicle category
We reserve the right to provide a comparable or superior vehicle if the booked category is unavailable
Booking modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges

3. Billing

The tariffs confirmed to you at the time of reservation will be payable by you for renting our cars. We reserve the right to change the tariff at any time without any notice.

Bookings for cars have to be made at least 24 hours in advance. If the vehicle is required within 24 hours, then kindly contact on reserve@ethicscar.com.

Payments have to be made immediately upon making of the booking for the cars.

In addition to the amounts to be paid by you to us for renting the cars at the time you make the reservation, you shall be liable to pay all additional taxes as applicable at the time of service and use of the car.

For outstation trips, billing is done as per calendar day basis.

The time period and distance for computing the commencement and the completion of a trip shall be computed on a 'Garage to Garage basis'.
In addition to the amounts payable to us and towards service tax, all amounts payable towards toll entrance fees and parking charges will be charged separately.

4. Payment Terms

Payment must be made in Indian Rupees (INR)
Advance payment may be required at the time of booking
Additional charges may apply for extra kilometers, fuel, tolls, parking, and driver allowances
All prices are inclusive of applicable GST unless otherwise stated
Payment can be made via bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit card, or cash as specified

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation by Customer:

Cancellations made 4+ hours before pickup: No cancellation Charge
Cancellations made 0-4 hours before pickup: Minimum Charge will be applicable.
No-shows will be charged the full rental amount

Cancellation by Company:

We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund will be provided.

6. Vehicle Usage and Restrictions

Vehicles must be used only for lawful purposes within India
Smoking, carrying pets, and transporting hazardous materials are strictly prohibited
The vehicle must not be used for racing, towing, or off-road driving
The vehicle must not be subleased or used for commercial ride-sharing without authorization
Kilometers limits (if applicable) must be adhered to; excess charges apply.

7. Insurance and Liability

All vehicles are covered under comprehensive insurance as per Indian Motor Vehicles Act
The renter is responsible for the first claim deductible in case of accidents
The renter is liable for all traffic violations, challans, and fines incurred during the rental period
Personal belongings are not covered under our insurance; renters are advised to secure their items

8. Fuel Policy

For chauffeur-driven services, fuel costs are typically included in the package unless otherwise specified.

9. Accidents and Damage

Report all accidents immediately to local police and to us
Obtain a police report (FIR) for all accidents
Do not leave the accident scene without proper documentation
The renter is responsible for costs not covered by insurance
Failure to report accidents may result in denial of insurance coverage

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and usage.

11. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from vehicle use, delays, breakdowns, or accidents. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted under Indian law.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thane, Maharashtra.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
